newbie needing advice

hi all..

i posted a thread in natural world but no one replied =(

anyways, i need some advice. i recently took a picture of a sunset and it turned out fine except for the forground which was supposed to be this grassland covered in shrubs - it turned out all black. so what should i do so that i can see both forground and sunset in my pics?

any advice wld be greatly appreciated! thanks!

use Gradual neutral density filter, might need to stack up to afew for the whole scene to be properly exposed.

or simple take 1 shot wif glassland properly exposed and 1 with sky properly exposed and merge them together.
