Life is cheap.... Hundreds of people killed in Iraq everyday. War in Lebanon killed thousands. Tsunami killed tens of thousand of people. So what is a kitten's life?

I don't consider life eternal. We live to serve a purpose. Sooner or later, everybody has to go. So, why must I grief over my parents' death? They had served their purposes well. They helped build our nation what it is today.

i don't quite get the logic ... human life is cheap? or all lives are cheap? or a kitten's life is cheap? do you think that a person who got violently murdered is just another meaningless statistic? even if he/she is closely related to you?

this i agree, griefing or not, that's personal, but for most, griefing is a way to relieve stress from the loss of a close person.

All life, two or four legged, are cheap.

Personally, I think it is silly to cry over a loss of life. Look at those people at Huang Na's funeral. I just shake my head and wonder.

thinking that life is cheap is the most sinful thing to do as far as i am concerned. a person who thinks that life is cheap is as good as slapping his/her parents telling them their effort has been wasted raising him/her up.

Life is cheap or not, as I said, we live to serve a purpose. Once we are done, we'll have to go. Case closed.

Have you seen a real man shot dead right in front of your eyes? If you did, you'll think otherwise.

Life just comes and goes. Some lived meaningfully, while others are not. Some just take the life of others in a matter of seconds.

Yes.... On assignment in East Timor in 1999/2000. A pro-Indonesia militia solider shot an East Timorese at gunpoint metres away from me.

Dude..Life is cheap if you want it to be cheap...

To me, when i am alive still...i want to live without regret
(not just going to work, knocked off..have a beer...and go online posting about coolness of exotic meat)
When i am old...with at least 1 younger chap to respect me
When i am dying..with at least 1 person to hold my hand.
when i am dead...with at least 1 person to grief over me..

    for me...thats good enough..

Guess for you...none of the above applies...
Life to you is too cheap to even stop and ponder over your own actions.
Dont mean to be offensive, but you seems more like a robot to me...

Perhaps, you shouldnt get married..(cos its a celebration of 2 lives bonding into 1)
Perhaps, you shouldnt have kids in the future (cos a new birth is a celebration of human lives)

End of the day, that kitten do not deserved to die that way..
Animals and human do die eventually...why and how they die..is more important thou.
