    I'm sure I've seen no-photography signs in Singapore shopping centres

    No photography inside private property if owner doesn't allow, i think. Not too sure about this.

    But taking pics outside of private grounds isn't illegal.

    sometimes we shouldn't be taking it out on the guards. they are merely carrying out their jobs.

    and where does this kind of rules comes from? the managerial level. they make the regulations and control the resources.
