Like the concept. It is a very strong cultural/religious theme.

    But crowded already.

Keep us informed of the results.

Default 倩女幽魂 A Chinese Ghost Story

Here are my thoughts about how we could approach going the 倩女幽魂 A Chinese Ghost Story project. Apology to Tsui Hark, I am plagerizing the name of his movie, but I cannot think of anything more appropriate.

I am not advocating one way or another, I am proposing 2, but they are very different in approach, and we can do either, both even both.

The simple way is the model shoot approach. We need an appropriate model, very good MUA, find a suitable location, get the photographer together, and shoot. With the right props, right outfits (styling), spot on make up, I am sure we will produce some very "scary" pictures.

The second way is a production. Model(s), MUA, stylist(outfits and props), lighting guy, photographer(s), many PAs are all impportant. However this will require us to come up with a theme, a story board, and the images we want. Based on the images decided on, we go an produce them, as a team.

I have ideas on how both can be executed, including but not limited to locations, make up, costumes, and the model. Will share those Monday.

If there are enough interests, and divergence in opinions, there could be multiple shoots/productions/projects spinning out of this.

    ANYTHING GOES !!!

in my opinion.. think it will be better to move alone just to capture more impressive shoots.

the elder will be more frightened if such a big group of photographers gathered and were to appear all around them!

in designing the site, I have viewed dozens of the Mr Yip's works in capturing elders...

I frequently wonder, do people read the preceeding post before they comment?
