Din realise that the v3 can take quite nice macro...provided there's ample amt of light...

Looks under exposed to me.

Keep shooting. PLace your "stone" under good light and take a good macro of it!

The stems look properly exposed but the flowers are a tad over-exposed...

btw the focus is on the stems. Will look better if the flowers are focussed instead.

Also try to avoid distractions in the background like the lines on the wall.

and eh, about the title, find what huh??

If you stare hard enough... centre of the picture, there is a small bee or insect inside the flower...

No wonder its out of focus slightly. The camera which is set at macro mode I presume, is too far away from subject.

Set camera to wide angle and move camera 10cm(one hand width) from subject.

hahah dun think my canon v3 with 2x zoom can do that...i realise that the cam which is set on macro mode is always out of focus when i go near the object..duno why...not too sure if this cam can take good ring shot, wolf...

any canon v3 users?? care to share ur macro pics??

Read the specs of ur cam. It states minimum 10cm subject distance at widest angle. Maybe you went too near.
