Hi pals...
I just got a new 70-300 APO DG Macro for my NIKON D70s and I found it's getting out of focus @ 300mm. First i thought I haven't familiar with this lens that's y.. But later realised it's not that prob even though I shot with high shutter speed .It's problem with filter. The shop gave me some "TAMA " UV filter made in japan.when I removed this filter I'm getting pretty sharp and focused pics. Anybody can suggest me any nice filter which can help me to get sharp pics @ 300 mm also..as I'm scared to shoot without filter |

If its definitely the filter. Then get the best filter you can. Maybe nikkor NC filters (wonder whether they have that thread size. Or get B+W or Hoya HMC.
