Default SB-29s rings

Hi guys and gals,

Just wondering if anyone ever saw the SB-29s macro speedlight 62mm on sale anywhere?
as I seem to have lost mine

if yes, what's the price? thanks

OT a bit....any price drop or not ?? ever since the R1C1 is out....
I mean the flash...not the rings..

I don't think the price dropped, don't think CP still has stock either. Try PM sykestang see if he can find them for you.

You do know that SB29s doesn't have iTTL right? It only has D-TTL and won't work with the D70/D70s/D50. I don't know about the D2x though, It might if the D2x runs D-TTL.

Not that I really want to reply.. but oh well, to help clear the doubt on D2X+D-TTL.

Yes, all the pro-bodies are backwards compatible to D-TTL if a D-TTL capable flash is mounted on the body. If a i-TTL flash is mounted, it will use i-TTL.

Eg: SB-28DX, SB-80DX on D2H/D2HS/D2X/D2XS.

If a i-TTL flash is mounted on a D-TTL body, the flash will adjust itself to D-TTL mode.

Eg: SB-600/SB-800 on D1/D1H/D1X/D100.
