Default D50 "Enter" button not working

My "Enter" button on D50 not working. Can't zoom my photos on camera without this function. Got other work around? Is there smth like a reset button for the camera?

Should have ba.. check the manual for the D50, should be ok lah

confirm got reset button one...

maybe u check it out and see how? then dont need to waste a trip to NSC

hm tried resetting, no effect. gotta bring it down. first time heading down to nsc, just bring warranty card can liao?

Since your cam is going to be in for a week or two, might as well bring all your other lenses, flash etc. in for servicing too. Then when everything is ready, everything would be good as new. And ya, bring the receipt(s) too.

i cant service all my other equipment even though it's under warranty? i.e. general servicing must pay ah?

Yes, general servicing is not free.

omg are you serious it takes that long? i was thinking it's probably some firmware problem...

Depends on the level of difficulty necessary to repair, 2 weeks is a bit long, I had a D2HS sent in for 1 month+ the other time, but it come back as good as new,

wow. thought it'd be less than a hundred just to clean up the camera.

If camera under warranty and got problem of course free lah, if you nothing to do just send in for make up, rogue powder applying of course charge

You dun want to rush them. Let them take their time and do their job. The good technicians wun have only your camera or other equipment to attend to. It also depends on how many other jobs they have ahead of yours.

2 weeks is a rough estimate only. Just be prepared for any amount of waiting time as it could be the button contacts which are faulty or they may have to replace the entire circuit board, and these takes time.

Don't worry lah, they will service it but it depends on who come first If your set is in the queue, of course gotta wait lor
