This ethernet cable I was talking for cable modems about can go up to a maximum of 100m. I was given 2 pieces, a 2m and a 10m(or was it 5m, can't remember) cable. 10m costs <S$10 at SLS.

Do you need USB 2 for the USB cable modem ?
How's the speed compared to the RCA one ?
I tried both RCA and PCMCIA for laptop and the speed is about the same.
