any of these filter can be stack together, but the more you stack the lower ur image quality. different between 3T~6T 3T - 52mm, 1.5diopter 4T - 52mm, 2.9diopter 5T - 62mm, 1.5diopter 6T - 62mm, 2.9diopter not only filter/attachment will degrade quality, extension tube does degrade IQ as well, and it also reduce the light (need longer exposure) for advantage i got no idea Last edited by ExplorerZ; 18th July 2006 at 09:59 AM. |

6T is 62mm ring. IIRC 50mm lens is 52mm ring. Use 4T instead (52mm ring). Regards, Arto. |

i got the 62mm 6t with step down ring to 52mm so can fit onto my nikkor 50mm guess my next step is to read up on nikon extension tubes and 3rd party ones... so far i only know that nikon extension tubes will make lenses become "manual" i think the other brand is kenko? cant remember but it can retain the AF of nikkor lenses... good or not huh? |

I don't know about you, but i prefer to focus manually when shooting macro
for nikon branded close-up products http://www.nikon.com.sg/products.php?categoryid=48

Move your body front and back to focus while holding your camera and your eye at viewfinder. Regards, Arto. |
