Good ol 28-70. f2.8 L does the trick for me. Why? Quality is good, bokeh is nice, within nice flash distance. However, do bring your 17-40 L cause somehow even outdoors, the corners may be tight. Prime lens may not be that useful in weddings.

15mm fisheye is great cos got fisheye effect
20mm is great is great cos got sweeping landscape 24mm is great is great cos got beautiful background and you want to stand 50cm from them 35mm is great cos got nice perspective 50mm is great cos its cheap and does the job well 85mm is great cos got fantistic bokeh 100mm is great cos got great isolation techniques 135mm is great cos either got soft focus and great bokeh 200mm is great cos got the blur in the background look 300mm is great cos got the super blur in the background look in short everything also good, how you want to use it is the point.

thanks guyz for the advice, and thanks gilbert for the list. but i m not that 'prime' person in fact
put the tele lens aside. if the choice narrow down to 17-40, 24-70, which one is more prefer? i remember i bring 3 but end up i used 17-40 the most. maybe because i enjoyed the shot with a widen background. |
