cant upload pics

i cant seem to upload my pics from newly bought S3IS.
the driver is installed but when connected,there's nothing.

did your computer detect new hardware or anything? which mode did you power on to?

yup detected and installed the driver.viewing mode.not shooting.

there's a message saying (there are no hi speed usb host controllers installed on this computer)
what should i do?

what version is your usb port? 1.1. or 2?

ive got a feeling it's 1.1.or 1.0.haiz.
is there any other alternatives?
say external usb drive to connect to my comp and the cam from there?

Hi.

Have you considered getting a card reader? Then you don't need plug your camera to the PC at all ...

My com uses usb 1.1 and the comp detects the cam
Check your drivers again

I used my old card reader to download, my indicates it takes 120mins ++ to download from the 1GB card..........................................:big eyes:

So i just plug it direct to my camera, which took about less than 15 mins

120mins ++? you got to be joking. i used a usb 1.1 on my 1gb card and only takes 20mins max...
