wa seh, good capture.
the 2nd one looks mysterious. Sentosa, St.John... has a few. spotted a few of them while i was there. a pity i dun haf long lenses.

First one has a blown b/g but i like th second one the best. I guess it is that mysterious look.

The 2nd owl is very sinister-looking. Well done!! I can still remember I was able to hear the hooting of owls when I was younger. Nowadays, can only hear the horning of cars. Haha.. The cost of urbanisation.

Lighting: Yes they are residents. Like cheesecake has mentioned, you may find these buggers at Sentosa, St.John, BTNR, SBWR, etc. To locate these birdies ones need plenty of luck. These are my only 2 encounter with owls since I started bird photography around two & half years ago. Raptor84: As for first shot.....No choice, lighting beri harsh...almost noon and forgotten to bring my flash along Reno: No more using my humble setup....retired already lor Currently using Nikon D50 + Tamron 200-500mm lens with Kenko 1.4X TC.Cheers Last edited by Newguy69; 9th July 2006 at 11:20 PM. |
