Fz5 for concert

Hi people, i'm using a fz5 with Emoblitz slave flash. had no idea wat settings n diffuser to use. any advise?

unless you are an offical photographer, and flash is allowed, and you are close to the performance, chances of getting the flash to light the subject is very low. [i've tried and failed ]

if that the case, it shouldn't be that hard. juz have to trial and error the exposure. and if you are able to move about, try to lower the f-stop when you move nearer the stage or open up the aperture when you move further. there is no hard rule for such shooting. but if you are shooting with dSLR or camera with TTL flash, all you have to do is use a constant shutter/aperture and let the flash/camera do the reading
