C40 wif PT-014 housing

Hi all,

Going for a Sipadan trip mid july...but had an issue wif my old camera....camera running on 2xAA battery and could only last a few shots(less then 10 shots wif the view monitor off most of time unless taking photo)......any idea wat could be wrong or its time for a new camera?

Tried using new 2200ma battery but only abit better......used to be able to last me 2-3 dives and taking ard 20-30 pictures at least before batt run flat on me

Kinda desperate now....cos buying new camera would mean alot of $$$ my old housing will goes to waste unless someone is keen on it......doubt my Oly C-40Z is worth anything now

since c40 is so "yesterday" and you hv kind of written it off, why not get a newer cam? in the whole scheme of things, ( cost to Sipadan, opportunity cost of leave, the company u have keeping), it may be worth it becos you are not buying the camera just for this one trip ....
