    Cool converting VHS to VCD/DVD

    Hi all

am looking for a shop to convert some of my VHS tape (including wedding footages) into DVD/VCD.

Wondering if you have a good one to recommend (pref. centrally located or in the west). How much do they charge for their service and what must I ask before I hand over my tapes to them.

    Thanks for your help.

Rather than to pay others do it, the simplest solution today is to buy a reasonably good but cheap DVD recorder (say, LG or if rock bottom, Akira) and do the DVD yourself. The DVD recorder only $200. Each DVD only $0.50. Send out to do, you get slightly nicer menu, but you pay $20 to $30 per hour per tape. And you get to keep and use the DVD recorder after all the conversions.

    That's what I did!
