Hi All,
Please note that one of the most unique fisheye lenses on the market has now been made available to Singapore photographers – Raynox DCR-CF185PRO, on a mass-order basis! http://raynox.co.jp/english/dcr/dcrcf185pro/index.htm This is an interesting lens compatible with both DSLRs and digital cameras. It can create 2 effects – Ultrawide and Circular Fisheye for most digital cameras, depending on how the lens is zoomed. Hi Jim,
- The lens is a good subsitute for the normal fish eye lens, but seems like it fixed for Nikon Coolpix series. Any adapters can be used for the SLR series ike D200 ? Thanks sooss |

The issue is not Nikon Coolpix or DSLR. It's the lens you use and the filter thread of this lens for your D200. The DCR-CF185PRO has performed outstandingly with Canon 300D w/18-55mm lens. So I suppose with compatible lenses, this fisheye lens will fit the D200 as well! No need for adapters if your lens thread is 52mm or 58mm as Raynox will provide these 2 free of charge! Will the camera be able to auto-focus or get accurate metering with the lens attached?

This is a general question which is more dependent on your digital camera/DSLR/SLR model. Full lens-camera compatibility might not be realised completely when using a 3rd-party lens, unless the lens is specifically designed for a particular camera. So far no problem with most digital cameras on the market.
