can fire straight also... more like *where* u using it... small white rooms is the mecca for omnibounce...
b4 cameras my omnibounce was a rugby ball...

Many seem to believe that Omnibounce gives soft window lighting for ALL situations. This is NOT true. It works only if used in a small room.
I find it useful when applied as a barebulb. By the way, be prepared to lose 2 to 3 stops of power. |

I'll use omni-bounce in a room with low ceiling, tilt flash 45 degrees. As for open space, I'll prefer to use a bounce card.
