Do you mean how 1 to develop the black & white film/ negative, and then 2 print the photos? For (1), read the sticky on film developing in this very subforum. Will give you a starting point for (2), you will need to work/learn in a darkroom from someone. Last edited by student; 30th June 2006 at 12:34 PM. |

I think what u want to do is Develop your Black n White negatives and make Prints from them. It is simple once you get all the basics down. All you need is to make an initial investment for the supplies you need then you'll be off... However, you do need to be really keen in to using your hands and doing stuff DIY, or else you'll find it too much of a hassle.
To 'wash' or develop negs you basically need: 1. Paterson/Jobo Developing system, (Developing Tank, Film Reels) 2. Developer 3. Fixer 4. Lotsa Water, use your bathroom tap. 5. Determination and willingness to not give up...coz initially it's pretty difficult to get things right.. so learn from mistakes and keep reading material from books or the internet... Printing you basically need an Enlarger which is pretty much a big investment if you're on a budget...other clubsnappers can tell you more if you're really interested in making prints.. go on the internet and you can find alot of articles regarding DIY developing of BnW negs as well as printing..
