Just joking, but this really reminds me TMNT and Shredder

Doug is on a break now, those mailing him may get someone else replying on his behalf, in case you want to know.

No lah, just thanking you for your pm and the info you gave me on ThinkTank.

Haha... you gave me a scare! Thought for a moment there was Spiderman hanging off the ceiling in Burger King listening to us, totally undetected...

Speedblade, you went on a prolonged trip? What are your current usage reviews?

Madmacs, I think you can mail Doug already. I think his trip should have finished

    my personal take...

I had the chance to try the system last Saturday at the NDP preview. The belt felt very comfy and the pouches were very convinient to use. I brought along the lens changer 75 for my 70-200mm (with tripod collar), lens changer 50 for my 17-40mm, and the lens drop-in for small miscellenous, i.e. wired remote control.

Even when I got on a bus, I just move the pouches around so that I can sit comfortably. Changing lenses is a breeze. At the end of the shoot, I didn't feel tired at all as compared to before when I bring along my LP Slingshot 200AW. No tired shoulders.

I went through the entire NDP rehearsals and actual day using my existing ThinkTank setup, and it was a gem to use. Especially the Speed Changer, Pocket Rocket as well as the Whip It Out.

hi, dun mind me bringing up an old thread. but this is the kind of system i'm looking towards at. cos used a deluxe lowepro belt and ain't too happy with it. sold it. the belt can give way just by bending forward with weights on, and i need to do an additional carabina to do additional securement. since then was hoping for something that sparks up a beam of hope, i hope thinktank is that beam of hope.

i'm looking for something that is light (weight not given for thinktank products though), well padded, thin & compact, rotates. seems that thinktank fits most bill.

    now probably looking at

    Pro Speed Belt
    Lens Changers x 3
    Speed Changer
    Bum Bag

the only thing is that there is no pouch that can hold a camera body and a short lens attached together, something like a holster. as i do not use a long lens, mine longest is nikkor 18-200mm VR (not long at all at unextended length) hence will not be using a whip it out. i think i will still use my optech chest harness together with this system....

sehsuan, dun mind if i link your thread to my sticky in consumer thread (at a later time)?

you can make use of the other pouches as holster same as what whip-it-out can do.

last NDP... I holstered my 5D + 70-200mm F2.8 with hood in my Lens Changer 75... no problemo... but ofcourse ou must still sling the camera strap around your shoulder... by doing this, I've placed the weight onto my hips instead of putting weight on my shoulder and neck.
