    2 notebook duo core 1.6 with 1 GB RAM, 1 desktop P4 2.4 with 768MB RAM

    1GB on my Prescott 3.0GHz. Considering 4GB/ 8GB (8 sticks to make use of 4 individual memory channels) for my next rig (2 x Woodcrest).

    3.2Ghz Dual Core, 2GB ram

    In short PS CS2 is slow as compared to the older versions. PS7 is fast but lesser features. I use both versions. haha

    Not sure if CS2 runs better on a MAC.

    for my case had to be at least 1gb.. and i've got 1 gb in my 2yo old trusty...

    4gb on home pc, 2gb on office pc... both maxed out...

    1gbx4 & 512mbx4

    Just go a new laptop with 1GB. The difference is amazing.

    Wes it's a Dell; and no I won't put it on my lap so my family jewels won't be chow tar.

    Just check my system ....

    Window 98 SE
    256MB Ram
    Pentium III

    Think should be able to last me another few years ....
    No complain about the speed or graphic ....

    remove both, then put in 2x 1gb, become 2 gb liao...

    problem is... your laptop mobo can take anot... compatibility issues aside.

    Hope you don't do gaming on it,most dell dont offer delicated graphics.

    Home: Pentium PEE965 3.73GHz + MSI 975X + 4x Corsair 1GB (PC-5400) and runs CS + CSII fine.

    Work: Pentium D940 3.2GHz + MSI 945P + 1x Kingstom 1GB (PC-5400), runs both suites fine as well.

    Mine came with 512mb of DDR2 so i added in a 1gb module. Next time if i really need i'll add in another 1GB and sell of the 512 module..
