Default Doing a Search in Clubsnap

I tried to do a search on a particular topic, say "Canon 10D" and specified the search to be done in the Buy and Sell section.

However, I get a whole mess of posts related to Canon and even some other unrelated ones.

Is there a neater way to search where only those posts strictly related to the selling of Canon 10D appear?

Thanks!

Putting "Canon 10D" in the search box ("" included) and searching for Thread Titles only produces a lot of results. For more relevancy, you can also limit the search to threads/posts from the last 6 months only.

I tried searching with and without the quotation marks (" ") but a lot of results still appeared. Basically, anything that has the word Canon. Limited my search to Buy and Sell.

AFAIK, searching for 10D will not work as it is only 3 letters. You need a minimum of 4 letters in the search term. Use of quotes, AND, OR, +, -, etc all don't work either as the administrators have not enabled this search mode.

hopefully the admin can enable 3 letters search again like last time (after the slow server issue have been solved), as a lot of of camera items code are in 3 letters.

I tried with other items too, like lenses. Canon xx-xxxmm fxx, and the search returned many irrelevant results too.

Hope the search function can be made more sophisticated. Else it's useless when searching for such items.
