Default Purple fringing in FZ7 view finder

hi guys, i remember someone have post this topic b4, but that time i havent bought my camera so didnt read it and now cant find the topic liao. what happen was last sat i brought my camera to the zoo, then when i tried to take photo under directly sun, i see very obvious Purple fringing so whats wrong with it and what can be done? does it mean i can never take photos under strong sunlight? that day i tried to take photos on light trail so i pointed the touchlight directly at the lens, could this be the problem?? sorry, i didnt take a photo of the purple fringing if not can show u all.

Then some small problem is how much does a fz7 battery cost? sorry wor lazy to go find out now got so many things to buy need to get another sd card also....

But in your case, is it that 'purple fringing' during half press focus?

If it is, then i think i encountered it before. In aperture mode that is, light is already bright so at that aperture, say(example only ar), 2.8 - 4.0, the camera is trying its best not to over-expose by using the fastest shutter speed available, but if it still ain't able to do that, it'll show that 'purple fringing'.

Best bet is to -ev compensate or use a smaller aperture like f/5.6 or f/8.0

if fastest shutter still too bright, you set -ev, you will be needing a even faster shutter speed.

anyway talking about PLUG... . i wonder where all the old bird gone to?
