    You are a rascal!

Now how the hell do I get out of the office and tell my colleagues I am afflicted with rhinitis?

I miss my parents. They were long gone 1/4 century ago, and never saw little zorro! (They wanted me to get married while I was in Uni!)

But they gave their all for me! Including money for a Honda CB 400 Four which I never needed, but wanted (thankfully I do have some vestige of common sense, and I kept the monies for books!) My mum also gave me hell of a lot whackings for taking ricketty sampans across the Perak river, and whackings for stealing cookies from the old neighbour in the provision shop. (of course she had to pay for the things I er, took), and whackings for fighting with boys who were years older than me (of course I broke my leg in one of these fights!)

But of course they would give their very life for me, the rascal.

One can change wives (sorry, it is true, and for that matter, one can change husbands). but one cannot change his parents.

I remember the day my mum passed away ........ till today i still have so many things I want to tell her ...
that day I also realise that nothing is permanent ... and we must always cherish whatever we have.

    very meaningful

reminds me of the time in schools how some of my classmates turned embarrassed when seen with their parents around, on the contrary i had always wanted my parents to turn up for my schools' functions, which they almost always refused to and disappointed me. it was sometime later that i realised that they did not want to embarrass me ...
