Hi all, i own a panasonic FZ7. Would like to know what kind of accessories that are compatible like filters or lense etc. I'm a newbie and the manual doesn't give much info.. one more thing, is it possible to manually on the flash? i brought it for a studio shoot but i had to cover the flash with my hand. Is there a way to turn on the flash without opening the popup? Do you guys have a shutter lag during studio shoots?

oh.. forget to give scenario properly.. Erm its a studio shoot, so its a wireless flash trigger kind of thing.. Meaning that i'm suppose to use the studio's big flash umbrella instead of my direct flash..

for shutter lag i guess it is might be due to low light (i assume your studio are of average or below average in brightness) and if you wan to trigger ur studio flash without firing the flash on fz7... i wound say IMPOSSIBLE. turn on flash without popup? if flash doesn't pop up, you wun be able to see the flash, and the slave sensor in ur studio light will not be able to sense it. simply means that the studio flash will not fire as well. lastly, most of the filter you sld be able to use with fz7, except for a few like linear polarizer... lens... depending on what you define as lens. some consider wcon/tcon as lens some consider as attachment Last edited by ExplorerZ; 27th June 2006 at 06:37 PM. |

the simplest way to diffuse an onboard flash is to buy a fujifilm film. cut a small hole in the container, and slide it in and presto!
Some links for FZ5, also may work for Fz7. http://www.geocities.com/seemolf/ http://users.belgacom.net/christophe.vlaminck/fz1.html - recently found this site, about DOF with an FZ camera. |
