Default Anyone here using Ikelite C-5050 Housing?

Guys, is there anyone here using the above setup willing to loan the housing for 7 days next week?
I've sent mine back to States due to a crack on the base and will be heading out on assignment on the 3rd of July.

Your help is deep apperciated.

He is currently using sync cord on his Inon strobe with his ikelite 5050 hsg. So cant use on the Fuji F11 hsg bcos he dont have fiber optic cable...

Worse..Fuji hsg cant mount his 4 X UCL-165 ...which is cant leave out...

So..no one else got C-5050 ike hsg except 1 guy (Gildow) now in Jakarta.

Worse come to worse..I have to lend him my ...........hmmmm....better not..haha

In any case if I can't get hold of an Ikelite housing for this trip.. is anyone going to sell off their Ikelite C-5050 housing?

Well camera is settled for this trip. Have a friend lending me his C7070 with housing and D180 setup. I guess that will suffice. Maybe just bring another strobe along to play around with backlightings or something. hahaha.. Or get someone to hold the strobe on slave. Let's see how wide angle shots turn out. wahahaha...

Alternatively to waiting now for news from Ikelite on the status of the cracked housing and if it is able to be fixed and cost of fixing it, I might a) consider getting a backup housing same model or b) jump into investing getting the E-500 Olympus with the 50MM F2.0 Macro lens with Ikelite housing. I guess using the standard kit lens will have to suffice for wide angle shots for now.

What say you guys?
