Yah,
How do you make your colours so rich? I am using a DSLR and the only way I can make my pic richer is by using PS to play with level, overlay etc. So please advice.

Thanks Qazwer. I was there for 4 night, 5 days. Really fun getting to know the beijing photographers. Most of them are using medium format, Hasselblad. I am one of the few using digital there. Also quite interesting - half of them who went are female. Looks like there are alot of female photographers in China hehe..

Thanks so much for the comment w.s
Glad that 5 works for u
I actually brought a circular polariser there, could have used it to darken the sky abit and more saturated colour, but then forgot to bring the cokin adapter ring

thanks Kahuna. I actually pushed the saturation +30, some +50 . It depends on your liking. For me recently I err towards saturated colours, but not everyone might like it

Thanks knoxknocks. For #10 I merged two exposures, sky and the ground. Last time I tried HDR but haven't had much success with it. Probably still need to experiment more. Merging two exposues are way easier than HDR and I have been getting fine result with them

Hi shootz, I don't know how you perceive on your monitor. On mine I push up the saturation in PS from 30 up to sometimes 50. Usually the white balance everything I set it during Raw processing, so it's way less step in PS processing the jpeg.
