A40 Marco mode

just wanna ask.....
A40's marco mode in the auto mode, wat does it do? What difference will it make whether I use this setting or not when taking marco?
I don't seem to see any difference.

What about the others? Like the landscape and the portrait(i think) mode......

Read the A40 manual. It notes which mode u should use within how far from ur cam to the object. If i remember correctly, macro mode is for within 1 meter.
