Nice pic... If you opened the shutter for quite some time to get the star-trails effect, how is it that the boats appear to have not moved and inch although floating on water??

er, may i know how did u expose for 20mins? did u use the ND filters?
becos most of the time for me, 30s-1min and at abt f32 is already sufficient to make the whole dark place exposed properly..

some places have little light pollution, hence u can expose for a long time before the place looks well exposed

Not bad for Asian countries, usually it is quite cloudy.

Whoow... nicely exposed. Thanks for sharing bro!

Eventhough the boats were "stucked" in the mud, how about the trees?
Did you sharpen your image?

It was a still starry starry night...no strong wind .
Thanks bro, you really make me think hard..
I think I did the normal
low sharpening as I am afraid of having too much grains.

Hosea,

This is a very breathtaking and inspiring shot. For those (like me) who miss the kampung life in our home towns, stuck at work in the office, this shot, at least for a moment brings back fond memories of our childhood when times were a lot simpler.

The exposure is also nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

Best regards,
Sean.

Wonder how is it like to take on ISO100 with F32? More starry curve?
