erm...it would be better if you title your posts differently?? I was led to have the impression that everything was the same wedding. I was really confused for a moment. But through the photos that you have posted...i don't see the story you are telling. Technically...you are ok,watch the exposure?you have some nice captures here. there are some faults in your other posts,i will post my comments there.

but wat i meant in my initial statement was that i was constantly making sure the exposure was good, not that i was adjusting the shutter and aperture dials all the time. |

For myself, I use mainly A (Aperture) mode and M during wedding dinner when I find lightings too dim.
Putting to Auto is too much like using a P&S or Prosumer but is nevertheless, personal preference. Perhaps you may like to set to A mode, mainly playing with the Aperture and the ISO. Cheers |

many have the impression that Auto mode is amature-ish but nowadays, the algorithms of many Auto modes are very reliable and i find it a "safe" mode to use, especially for live event photography. btw, theres nothing wrong with using a P&S, and other than the canon single-digit series dslr, the rest are all prosumer dslr anyway. |

Didnt know that A mode is not useful in flashless situations.
My bad... coz I'm a newbie still learning how to use ISO in A mode and understanding lightings. Thanks for pointing out that Professional uses Auto mode. Also, I have nothing against P&S or prosumer. Cheers |

With modern metering technology, A mode gives quite predictable results, so you just have to learn when to compensate and how much to compensate.
![]() I usually use M mode for 95% of my photos except when the sun gets too bright outdoors, but it's a personal preference. |
