Nice series. Like #3 for the way it's taken.

I always like shots of cemetries & memorials in IR, tends to add a special feel to the place. To bad about the spiky roof in the background for #1. I also would have prefered it without the people.

#3 I like the bit of sky leading towards the buildings, and the effect of the moving vehicle.

Nice PP on the sky. Trees are a bit yellow for my taste though.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi there,

You can check out this video clip from LifePixel as posted in this thread on how to do the post-processing. It will show you how to remove the yellow colour from the trees.

Reduce the saturation for Red, Yellow and Magenta channels and increase slightly the Lightness will give you whiter trees and less yellow tinge.

I did that with one of your pics and this is the result. I also adjusted the blue in sky a little. and added a litte sharpening.

You've got the nice white colour on the trees. But the colours on the fountain seems to blend with the whites.

Hi there,

There are quite a few websites that talks about IR Photography. You can follow some of these links.

Link 2
Link 3
Link 4

Basically, IR Photography is about taking the invisible light that is beyond the normal colour spectrum. By using an IR Filter, you only permits IR Light (which is above 700nm) to enter the lens and into the camera.

The color on the fountain can be maintained as the original by layer masking, so that when any adjustments are done on the trees will not affect the fountain.

I was too lazy to do that Just wanted to let Shadie know that the yellow tinge of the trees can be further adjusted.

Don't be afraid to experiment with your post processing. Use layers adjustments for non-destructive post processing.

Bro, layering a little tedious leh ... guess that's the reason why you didn't do it.

Or, is there a shortcut? Care to share?

There are various ways to do things. Layer Masking, using lasso tool to select for adjustments. Got to try out the various tools.

Hi Bernard,

No problem at all. There are quite a few threads here in the IR Subforum that explain what IR photography is about. Here is one. Cheerz.
