    Anyone know how to write a 8051 assembly language?

    been searching on internet without much luck for a clock function..

    Why u need to write a clock function on 8051? Normally the clock is the input to the 8051, and we write a logic to split the time or delay the time then send to the output.

    clock function? do you mean timer function?

    what kind of clock you want? RTC or a PWM 'clock'.
    8051 is probably the easiest and one of the oldest uC around.
