Bashang grassland 坝上草原 - Day 2 GongZhu Lake 公主湖

posted the day 2 morning/noon pics in day 1 already. In the afternoon from 3 onwards, went to GongZhu Lake 公主湖。The view from the lake especially at sunset 7.30 to 8pm is magnificent.
Here my shoes were soaked in the mud and also an insect went into my mouth when I accidentally opened it. What an experience =.= . For this series I did some BW IR.

find that you love strongly saturated colors.... me dun have such preference but thinks it works perfectly well for #8 Pattern of clouds reflected on the GongZhu Lake. it is ok for #5 A horde of sheeps rushing towards the lakewater but would personally prefer a softer green. otherwise think that the lighting is great with those little dust gusted up by the wind and the sheeps.... personally think it is a gd timing and framing.... with ambience.

feel that #6 The two sheeps "Mbeee..." blue and green too strong and saturated.... same goes for #7

anyway just my eyes and my preference. you need not feel the same if you have different preference....

zoossh: actually I've only recently picked the preference for stronger saturated colours. During my trip I was constantly poisoned by the masters' work on their Ektachrome slide projected on the screen. Simply love the strong saturated colours and 3d look the slides produce

I like #1 and #5
Esp. #5, the feel is great with the morning sunshine and "rush" of these sheep.
Great to know u have improve so much.
I believe u can feel the joy of travel photography now esp. visiting the Vast grassland.

I feel alot for the pictures that you have posted, composure works well for each picture and the deep rich colour is something I like too. Except for #6, which I guess the flash sort of made it unnatural, I love your works.

Thanks so much Hosea. Now I know why you like to travel so much .. travel photog is really fun .My mandarin? haha.. maybe got improve abit, but I think I will need at least 1-2 years in order to achieve decent level hehe. Too bad now going back to SG alr

Leinaj: glad that the composure and color works for you. For #6 I agree it looks kinda unnatural because of the flash hm.. (edit) I retouched and converted it to BW for simplicity sake.
