Colleen Francisca Pereira, 24 this year is the runner up for Supermodel 2003, which I thought was much much better model than the eventual winner Nora Shereen Salim.

I really believe that colleen should be crowned as the MSW 2006....despite she didn't get to be the winner for the Supermodel 2003, though I like MSW 16 to at least be the 1st runnerup of MSW 2006...

actually if you really want to know, the actual results for first place was actually Colleen. She was a little dissapointed with the results as this was a recorded in front of live audience. The compere actually annouce the winner which was Colleen but they change it to Nora. The the program had to record all over again....

All this contest is full of politics. Later when i ask the compere if he did announce wrongly but he told me it was Colleen's name written on the paper and not Nora. Sad....

Colleen, I really hope you will win this contest. All the best!!!!!!!!

as i always told my friends ..the beauty pageant in sgsin ...kinda of kns..Those who suppose to win always end up being place 1st or 2nd runner up...

had to retake the announcement of the winner.

It was hard to stand there and smile knowing what had just happened.

Hi Pro image and those who attended this event,

why dont you guys raise this issue in the letters to the editor section of "The Straits Times" or even to the appropriate forums. I would personally like to raise this issue but since I have not witnessed this it would be hard for me to convince people something that I did not see.

But you guys can do it right, since you have witnessed this event. Events like this are a shame on our country which prides itself on meritocracy and talent, above anything else. Even if there is no legal alternatives atleast the organisers of this event should be shamed in public in such a way that nobody does this again.

My two cents of thoughts....

Well the event has been long gone, although the Mediacorp may keep a copy of the actual footage. Writing to ST? Well, I think Colleen should write to ST instead of us. We will fully support her 101%.

Then again I think Colleen has move on and quite happy where she is now. Let her decide as this after all is about her. If she wins this contest, maybe this could be better for her as she is representing Singapore, plus this is a much much bigger coverage than Supermodel.
