Hi,
Just got my DCR250 converter. Some first attemps at Macro shots with it mounted on S3IS. C&C please. All taken at TPY Garden. Wanted to try and catch some small bugs but no luck that day, so had to stick to the flowers that will not run away from me. No flash used for all pics. Thanks. Good attempts. Will be good to post your settings if you want some C&C.
I am not a flower person, so this are some views I have: 1) the key parts are a bit soft...i.e the stigma or stamen or whatever you call it, is not really in focus. 2) Composition wise is nice.

Of all the 3 shots, I only prefer #3. I find 1 & 2 do not have a main subject, my eyes keep going around the whole frame trying to guess what you trying to show in this two photos. Whereas for the 3rd pic, when I look at it it naturally lead my eyes to the 'centre of the flower'. Sorry I do not know the correct name for it.
