#1 is good composition but some aberrations there? The pinkish and greenish patch in the middle of the picture. Seems quite noisy though u used it at ISO100.

#3 is overexposed but nice catch of spider eating fly..didnt know that!

#7 and #8 is good and sharp.

Rest of the picture like a bit soft. maybe handshake.

Try a bit of PP to boost the colors!

They are still quite soft. Do you do any photo editing? Perhaps some sharpening using USM may help.

The greens on the right side of #1 and #2 look very odd.

#3 is a good moment captured, but flash is abit harsh.

Composition wise, I will go for #4.

Hope you don't mind my comments...

Thanks for the comments.

#1 & #2 is too under-exposed. After PP the pics, it appeared okay in my computer. So, didn't bother to do Neat Image.

I truly agree on soft focus or OOF cos quite difficult to focus using reverse-mount method.
thinking of changing approach.

Anyway, thanks again.

No problem bro, it's a long way for me to master with this system and method.

By the way, #4 is cropped from the bigger pics to show the subject. Anyway, all points are well taken note of. As for USM, do you mean the Ultrasonic thingy or from another software?

He meant Unsharp Mask. A type of sharpening in Photoshop.

oh no no, USM as in Unsharp Mask in the sharpening filters in Photoshop. Here is a write up on it:

I would say all these photo look soft. 1 & 2 were underexposure, the quality of these two photo also look funny, did you crop it heavily?

BTW it is always not easy to use reverse lens mount.

#1 & #2 weren't cropped. Is that they are heavily underexposed and they are the best of what I can choose from the list of series for this JS.

I can bet you on the softness. I guess I have to try on the USM as what tchuanye had told me when get back home today.

It's really a challenge to take with handheld reverse-mount.

By the way, thanks for the comments.
