the place i would say is averagely lit but there is a reasonable number of photographers with their Speedlites + accessories (eg. ommibounce, lightspheres), might be confusing for your camera's wb?

Quite a number of my shots over too, especially the swimsuit session, after that I reduce exposure a bit. But the flashes and spot light a bit problematic, quite a bit of hotspot which are annoying..

Do you mean some of the pics r too bright?

Yup, I push the exposure too high and they r a bit over in some shots at the beginning.

My flash very weak, 420Ex only bah.. shooting @ f2.2 though

I am always scared of artificial light and I arrived late. Have to rely on the unreliable AWB. If have more time maybe can try some custom WB with a gray card.

Tot eastpoint is your home court, noticed that there r smaller events that u also cover alone sometimes.
