Recently bought a black edition Lumix DMC-LC20K. Not bad for a $300+ not really 'only' point and shoot camera. It has manual white balance and other setting. It has mega burst mode(5 frames/sec) and movies mode with sound too! Best of all it uses Leica lens.
Without using digital zoom, pics are okay to me. It's very compact and I carry it in my pant's pocket.
