Sony DSC-R1
Anybody tried a Sony DSC-R1 for IR ?.
Can it do a preview in night mode like other Sony ?. |

can not...
the R1 doesnt have night shoot mode anymore... 717, 818, and V3 will be good for IR... |

R1 no night sh0ot mode ??.
Mmm maybe that's why nobody use it for IR. I thought it may be a good cam for IR based on previous Sony cam and also bigger CCD and the fact that it has a 24mm lens.

Have seen other Sony cam in night shot mode taking IR photo.
Even with the filter you can see the picture and compose.

I interested in R1 because of the wide angle and the sensor size.
828 cannot match leh.
