From last years visit

hi everyone,

I was looking through some photo's I took whilst there last year and decided to look at this one again.
Cropped and no channel swap gave it a feel I liked.

What do you think ?

My friend,

It's been some time since you posted.

Nice color tone, but I would prefer a little more sharpness.

Hi teerex,

Yes, I looked at the photo and wanted more sharpness.

But as I know I can use unsharp mask till the cows come home, I will still not use much.

My reasoning for using as little unsharp mask as I can is because I feel I should have taken it better anyway.

I don't want it to be what I didn't do. As it is, I have sharpened it a bit and I think I am cheating.

To be honest, it wasn't well taken as it is anyway.

What I was interested in with that photo was the result of not doing a channel swap.

Many here have done similar.... your self for one.

I had the original (as from the camera) on my screen at work. I was about to do some PS work on it when a friend there saw it and said,

"hey, is that make believe buildings, it looks surreal". I then saw it a different way and tried this.

I could pull it to pieces. As teerex mentioned about a bit more sharpness.

Well, that is one reason I am not happy with it, I did not get the focus right.

I did not allow for difference of focus with IR

Just the same, I am happy you all like it.
