hmmm.. Angel lacks details. if it 's silou, then imho it is not contrasty..

Perhaps relooks at the composition again.

Glare is quite distracting. If you position the sun right behind the wing you can still get the gradient in the sky, and can expose a little more of the statue also.

I love the idea and the feel to this! v nice!
