Just a boring dragonfly

Was hunting for butterflies but too windy. Then saw this bugger perching as usual. Mount my cam on tripod, dial in the intended settings (iso 1000 and f5.6 with 1/125s or 1/160s <cant remember liao> ) and wait for the subject to come into focus and FIRE!

This is the only presentable shot out of five shots.

nice copmosition, but eyes are soft

for me shallow dof is not a problem but eyes must be in focus

BTW DFs arn'nt boring

I wish I could get whole DF in focus too but just simply too windy and that was not a hard brach it perched on but a soft stem,... it will swing even a little breeze.
