hey pinkfuzzycat....all these pics brings back sweet memories for me...heh...kindof missed that place...heh...don't go there at nite thou...heh...was not very safe...now I donno...heh...was last roaming there over 6 yrs back....things might had changed...anyway...back to your pics...

personally...I think the PP is sufficiantly done...jus tat the pic is pretty OOF as londonray had pointed out...did you handheld ur shots?...think its more of a technique when taking these pics...esp in IR...cos of the long shutter speeds involved...a tripod majority of the time is pretty essential...

Hi Jing,

Did you auto-focus first, lock the focus (change to Manual-focus switch), put on filter and shoot? This time you got the pp correct, compared with the previous shots. (U know the problem hor)

Cheers!

I did!!! It was a wee bit hazy when i took the photos but other than that, I did make sure everything was in focus before I mounted the filter on.
I don't understand myself why my IR shots keep coming out slightly blurred.

so..which uni u're in?...GU?...Strathclyde?...I was in GU frm '98 till '00...doing EEE...might be paying a visit there early next year...heh...donno if u still be around then...

well...IR tend to focus slightly different from normal visible light...tats why sometimes on some lenses...there is a red colored marking on the lens indicating the optimum focus for IR...what I usually do is to actually reduce the aperture to increase the depth of field...but then..this prob will magnify any hotspots that ur equipment might have...heh...gotta find a balance lor...heh...

That's strange... if possible, can you do a test... take a color shot and IR shot.

Cheers!

Haha, neither. I'm at the glasgow art school, the one near cowcaddens. And yeah, I'll be around next year, and come after winter, cuz u know what the weather's like in winter! Can't shoot anything!
