Although today's race got not too much excitement in terms of crashes or overtaking, I find that just by watch the cars go about in the tracks IS exciting, esp the 'S' curve. Wah, like little RC cars going around in break neck speed. The tyres like got glue on them.

Ya, I get what you meant. Riding on board the drivers was trilling. At one point, the commentators kep quiet and asked the viewers to listen to M. Schumacher's engine to point out that there were no braking zones in the first half of the circuit. Very nice.

It is not the first half of the circuit, since, at race speeds, they definitely must brake for the Becketts complex.

Rather it is for the first corner, Copse, that they either take flat out (for the brave and usually only in qualifying) or with just a small lift off the gas (during the race)

We saw the three top teams finishing in the same order for both of their drivers.

    Renault: 1, 4
    Ferrari: 2, 5
    McLaren: 3, 6

For the rest, BMW is improving whilst poor Honda seems to be moving backwards

Honda is really struggling. Dunno what happened to the old B.A.R performance. Maybe they lost Dave Richards, no direction. He'll be back with his Prodrive.

    Yeah Shummi is back!!!

I tot abt 2 or 3 season ago they wanted to close this circuit. Still personally think this track is too old and rather dangerous should abandon it!

I dun think should close, need upgrades. Silverstone got lots of history and it is the home race of many teams. I like the race.

No, Prodrive is planning to join F1. Here are some news: http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=35115 & http://www.formula1.com/news/4285.html
