Default Posting of Pictures

I am a newbie here and would like to post pics here.How do I go about it.

You might want to read this thread first.

You will need to store your images online somewhere. Sites like flickr, pbase to name a few.

Once you have your images stored, get the URL of the image you want to post. Click on the Yellow Box with the mountain and the small moon. This will bring up a dialog box with 'Please enter the URL of your image:' Paste the URL here and press ok. Now, a line like:
[IMG]URL OF IMAGE HERE[/IMG] will appear.

Use the img tag, [img]...url to your jpeg [/img]

Thanks for the info. I'm printing it as I type. Why do the pix have to be stored somewhere else, can't they be sent to favorites, desktop, or my photos?

accessing your photos through the internet when your photo is stored locally means the user would be able to access your data through the internet. i don't think that's what you want right?
