![]() pardon the bad shot, but it was the best I could do. Perches high up in trees, makes a very unusual loud call. Was seen in a pair as shown. thanks for viewing cheers |

i may be wrong but i think they are Hill Mynahs, if they are they can be trained speak and used to be popular as pets

i agreed with simon.edward , i saw a pair at macritchie reservoir last year. where did u see them? you can see this website for more details.

Thanks for the bird ID and references.
The pair (if i'm not mistaken, there's 2 pair actually) was spotted near my HDB block somewhere in Dover, where there is a slightly forested area. I've spotted them first about 2 weeks ago, but thought they were just Javan Myna, as they look pretty similar in flight. cheers |
