    On another note.

Driver in Sony Ericsson cellphone heist dies of injuries, all 10 suspects arrested.

The lorry driver, who was seriously injured in last Tuesday's mobile phone robbery at Pasir Ris Park, has died.

Wan Cheon Kern, 46, suffered head injuries and was found bleeding in the lorry after the robbery on May 30.

He was sent to the Changi Hospital.

2,700 mobile phones worth a total of $1.5 million were stolen.

More than 2,000 of the phones have since been recovered.

Police have arrested 10 men in connection with the robbery.

Two of them surrendered on Monday morning.

Police said they would be charged with murder.

The other eight suspects were arrested last week.

They have been charged with offences ranging from robbery to receiving and disposing stolen property.

As the case has been reclassified as murder, some of the charges are expected to be amended. - CNA/ir
