Default Camera bag

I just bought my Canon 350D 2 days ago , very happy with its performance even though the kit lens is a bit crappy.

Any suggestions on what bag i should get?

I need space for

1 camera body
1 kit lens
1 portrait lens
1 wide angle lens

and some small space for other misc stuff.

What do you prefer ? Slingbag or backpack or ? For me I always prefer a backpack, so I got a lowepro minitrekker and Rower aw II. You could get cheaper brand but similar bag to lowepro from TCW.

Sling bags will be easier to take out/put back your cam and accessories but not so forgiving on the shoulders. Backpacks provide even distribution of weight on both shoulders but taking in n out of things from your bag can be troublesome, especially if u want to do it fast.

I recommend Lowepro.

For sling bag, I like the Crumpler. For ur equipment, you'll need the 7 million bag. Prob has enough space for u to add a flash as well.

I like my 7 million bag, but only complaint is that the padding is not thick enough. I'm still looking for better padding to help distribute weight.

My equipment includes 350D, 18-50 Sigma F2.8, sigma 70-300, 580Ex and recently, a Canon 10-22mm.

It will be quite heavy if you carry your equipment to walk around the whole day with a sling bag.

For long walking distance, I suggest getting a Lowepro backpack. Some models even have tripod holders (absent in slingbags)

Stealth Reporter AW D series!

maybe a SR 200 or a SR 300?

I like it over others cos there is a zip on top for quick changing of lens.

Get AT LEAST a SR D200. Trust me on this. I've seen people in you sitch too many times.

Besides the D100 is virtually impossible to sell once you out-grow it.

just a friendly advice, get something slightly bigger than what u have on hand at the moment.

otherwise, everytime u get new gear u're gonna get another bag and very soon u realise u can open a 2nd hand camera bag shop.
