I am confused with 2 pictures which I u/l to my photobucket gallery.
Both u/l are the same pic, one full size and the other reduced size. In the reduced size pic, there is a lamp post at the bottom right, I actually cropped it off from the original before reducing size and uploading. But it's still there, it's not there in the cropped full size file. Why, I don't think I uploaded different pics as I have deleted and re-uploaded it 3 times.Full size u/l where the lamp post has been cropped ![]() Reduced size, the lamp post appears. This is reduced from the above pic. ![]() Here's one shot for sharing, shot yesterday. Bad compo? I should have included the top of the tree on the right? ![]() Last edited by teerex; 4th June 2006 at 01:10 PM. |

It's not there in the gallery thumbnail, but when I click on the thumbnail to view enlarged size, IT APPEARS. Last edited by teerex; 4th June 2006 at 01:19 PM. |

You guys don't see the part circled red at the bottom right? I'm still seeing it in the posted second pic on my computer.

Yeh had this experience when I was using Webshot last time.
Have to wait like 12-24 hrs before the picture can be viewed correctly but most of the time it just does not allow you to view it. Don't understand why too. Now using Fotki, don't even need to resize for posting

I hv oso entercountered problems using photobuket.
- When i hv deleted a file (eg 1.jpg) in the album and upload a new file with same file name, it will kept showing the old pict. No matter how i refresh, login & out, shut down computer, still displaying the same. - When i hv same file name (note they r diff picts) in diff sub album, the system sometimes goes crazy to display similar pict. ![]() |

Fotki allows full size image upload, and that is what I do.
Can also retrive full size. When upload full size it will also make one (not sure how big but I think 800 x 600) smaller size for web. You can download the full size data anytime or authorised any one to download it with password etc. All my recent post are from Fotki and only uploaded the full size pic once. In fact all my Fotki upload are full size, have about 100Gb of pic data there because they don't restrict capacity. That is the reason why I use them instead of Webshot.

Hot linking and posting of pix to CS will be sized at around 500 x 300. Large enough for viewing anyway. You can upload any full size pix, but it will auto reduce to max 500 x 300 to save storage space. |

Not sure but I can download my 3008 x 2000 pic from the website after I upload.
Not sure if it is because I subscribed to their service because it gives me unlimited space.
