$200?? None at that price range. For high iso, look for fujifilm digicam.

$200? Forget it. Low light and reasonable performance, Olympus SP350 - approx $500. Olympus Stylus 800 approx $6xxx.

$200 can't even buy you any digicam from the main brands.
Buy second hand - possible.

Anyway, small compacts may have high ISO settings but that is no guarantee that the noise will be acceptable because the sensors are so small that the amplification is high. You can always take at ISO 400 or 800 and then use PS or other software to brighten up - similar effect as using a digicam with ISO 1600.

More important to get a model with low noise than to one with high ISO.

It's not just about exposure. Higher ISO might allow u to freeze moving subjects, while low ISO isn't.

Errr....$200? A bit difficult from mainstream brands. Those made in Taiwan brands available for around that price but image quality a bit questionable.

ISO of 800 - 1600 is only on newer cameras... it wasn't there when cameras were 3.2mp or 4.0mp. Now entry level cameras are already 5.0mp - 6.0mp.

Surely none available for abt $200...

I suppose I wasn't clear - I meant set at 800 or whatever maximum and underexpose 1-2 stop to ensure higher shutter speed, or manually set exposure, then adjust in PS - but I forgot that exposure compensation and manual settings in cheap compacts is not common....

only Fujifilm's F11 (and the older F10) has ISO 1600 and it's nowhere near $200.
